The manifestation of UV sunray damages on your face skin can be observed by the fine wrinkles, brown blemishes and red line of spider / thread veins and usually the lighter skin people are more susceptible to the damages. These red line of spider / thread veins appearances are similar to the response to alcoholic drink.

The UVC (ultraviolet C ) although succeeded in passing through the earth atmosphere, it does not usually reach earth’s ground since it has the shortest wavelength among the 3 wavelengths and most of it is being absorbed by the atmosphere.

However, it also depends on where you are living, the atmosphere absorption rate on UVC will vary with the altitude and depletion condition of the ozone layer. As some people will go for tanning machine to tan their skin, in my opinion it is best to stay away as it creates a lot of contradictions. The tanning machine produces a high amount of UVA rays which was believed to be much safer than UVB. Over exposure to UVB can cause for skin cancer and also sunburn. UVA does not cause sunburn but can penetrate very deep into the skin, much deeper than UVB. What if the person is under pregnant, under certain medication or the tanning machine wasn't calibrated for some time?

Did You Know? Surfaces such as water, sand, snow, and pavement can reflect back to almost the same amount of UV radiation that reaches on them. Due to this phenomena, the UV intensity can be deceivingly high even in protected and shaded areas.
